It's been awhile!

Hey everyone!

I haven't posted in quite awhile, so I figured I should post again now. I really don't have much to say. I really really wanted to take some pictures on monday, but I couldn't. It reached -34 celcius that day and reached -37 the next day. If those temperatures don't mean anything to you (supposedly some people use some other crazy scale), then basically, thats very very very very very very very very very very very very cold.

Anyways, my social class got boring (agricultural revolution), I really just couldn't care less about how farmers got more richer. Oh well, it's better now. Even though I have a crazy project now. Actually, I'm going to go play a game now, so I will post again eventually.

Update!

Hello everyone!

It's been 8 days now, so I figured I should write an update. I have been rather busy lately and haven't posted any updates. That is probably because I'm still recovering from working until 11:30PM on Friday.... my MANAGER who shall remain nameless made me do it! (haha, just joking, it was pretty fun, and I have a great manager).

Anyways, I have to write a journal from the perspective of a church-member in the medieval era. Hooray! I wonder if they could afford mp3 players.... hmmmm. And that King Louis guy sounds like a jerk (or is it King George)... oh well, maybe I should figure it out before I write the journal.

Well, thats all for today,

A second blog?

Yes, that is right. A second blog. I wanted to differentiate somewhat between this blog, and the one where I hope to store my huge amount of creative works. I created a blog to host funny articles written by me. As of write now there are 2 and a half such articles in existence, and I am only confident in the humour of one of them. That one is in my new blog, which can be accessed in a manner than I am about to describe.

But first, my regular update on my exciting life. Well, I started math and social in school. That sucks. In fact, I'm supposed to be doing homework right now. I hope you're all happy, you've gone and distracted me. Secondly, work on saturday was fun. The sewer backed up and it randomly started coughing up water into the A&W kitchen. Therefore, we had to close for an hour, and I basically got paid $11 (extra pay for rememberance day) for pushing water back down a drain. Not a bad deal I think. I have also developed a decent immunity to bad smells, so the smell really did not bug me much. Hoorah!

Okay, now for the second blog link. To get to it, you have to simply look to the left of this post and click once on the picture of me holding a camera. This will bring you to my profile page. On this profile page, listing my interests, you must scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see links to two blogs, this one, and a second blog titled "Random Humour". Go there. That will lead you to my second blog, which currently only has one funny article up. Many of you will have already seen my moderately famous "The Truth About Ducks" article. Those of you who haven't may enjoy it.

Hello everyone!

Hey all,

I really don't take pictures in winter I'm afraid. I dislike cold. But I will give you another boring update on my life. Actually, I'm rather excited. I went to the bank, and found I have money that I didn't know I had. So I was like celebrate! My mom says I should celebrate and save it... I say thats no fun, so I'm going to celebrate and buy this:

Yes, I know it's pretty. Well to me anyways, I'm kind of a nerd. But well... ya. I want it. So with my newfound riches I'm going to buy it. It also comes in black, but recently white has grown on me. Go me.

Anyways, I know you all care. I also have two finals tomorrow, that I dont' want to study for but should be. So I should maybe go do that soon... but first:

Hah! Now you're all going to have nightmares. I actually did take that, although I'm ashamed to admit it!

Well, thats it,

Keilan

Pictures! (That I didn't take)

Hey all!

I know I haven't posted in awhile! But I guess winter is just my off season. I prefer taking pictures when my hands don't freeze to the camera! However, just for your viewing pleasure, I have found two random pictures on the internet that I did not take and do not belong to me. I am posting here, hoping the photographer won't find me and well... I dunno what they could do, haha. They are very cute so I must show them to you. All credit goes to a photographer whose name I do not know.

Okay, number 1 here actually does have a copyright on the bottom. Whoever took this needs to lend me their bunny because it is so cute and I want to hug it.

Here is a kitten. I really don't need to say anymore, it's about the most adorable thing ever.

Just to make sure this is very clear. I did not take these. I only wish I took these. I just figured I needed to put some pictures up here, even if they arn't mine. Unfortunately, once it warms up and I start shooting again on a regular basis, nobody is going to care about my shots. (I showed you real talent, now what do I do...) Haha.

Anyways, I'm tired and I still have homework to do, so I will update again... whenever :)

Hey all!

Hey there everyone! It has been awhile. More than week, haha, sorry.

My computer was giving me trouble, so I have been playing around with it
and trying to get all the bugs out. It took awhile. Hopefully it worked, but I won't know until I restart. Anyways, no new pictures today I'm afraid. I dont' really like the cold weather haha.

I'm kind of excited today, I got a new CD (my 19th Christian CD, I'm so proud, haha) and a big book set. So I have entertainment for awhile!

Anyways, I have to head off to work right away,
God Bless!

Finally!

Hey everyone! It has been awhile. Cold weather does not lend itself to blog posting. Theres just nothing to show and nothing to talk about! Although the fog today was crazy, I could barely see. Anyways, on to the pictures!

Heres another landscape shot, before it got dark.

These two are just tree branches outlined against the sky, I thought it had a neat effect.

Well thats it today, hopefully I'll post again sometime. I've been busy on my Christian Metal hunt. I've actually found some winners. Yay for good music!

A few landscapes...

Hey all, I know it has been awhile, I most sincerely apologize. I really hate to do text only posts, but you know, thats what I'll probably end up doing a lot lately unless you want to wait 2 weeks between posts, haha. Today however, I do have some shots!!!

This is the sky near the beginning on my walk, it was very pretty and the moon was out.

Here is the sky near the end of my walk, it got real pretty and purple. Haha.

Well that is all I have for today, I will hopefully have a few more up in my next post but no promises.

God Bless,
Keilan

Pictureless Post

Hey everyone!

At least, if anyones left, I'm sure at least half of you turned away after seeing this post was titled "Pictureless Post", haha. I'm afraid that I can't get any pictures up today, although I do have some new ones, I have yet to go through them and get the good ones.

I am slightly angered at Dove (my local Christian store). I called on Saturday to pre-order Pillars new CD (It's called the Reckoning, if you're a heavy rock fan, BUY IT!).

This Space Has Been Freed Up For An Urgent Edit!!! I have suggested that you buy Pillars new CD if you are a rock music fan. I strongly doubt anyone actually would on my word alone, but just in case anyone would, I'm posting this. The CD was a dissapointment. As a general summary, Pillar went soft, oh well, they were good before, maybe their next CD won't be as dissapointing as this one.

So anyway, they said it was in and they could sell it on Oct. 3 (today and the day it's released). So I go to the store after school today to pick it up, and I'm told the shipment didn't come in... which was supposedly in Saturday... so I'm mad and head home. When I get home I have a message on the machine saying the CD is in and I can come pick it up!!!

It's nice to be able to get Christian CD's locally (internet buying sucks), but man that place is uncoordinated. I can't get mad at the people, all of them are really friendly, but I think their computer system is messed up... and now I don't have a CD I wanted today, rats!

Anyways, rant is over, God BLess!

A few more!

Hey all, I decided to a few more shots from my latest photo trip today. After this I'm going to need to go take some more, I sure hope the weather behaves, haha.

This is a random decorative metal thing... hehe.

This is one of my favourite view spots, it's always calm over here and the view is amazing!

Same shot as above, just played around with a bit, I wanted to post at least 3!

Hope you enjoyed these.

A few new shots!

Hey all, I decided to go out yesterday and shoot a few seeing as it was 25 degrees out, yay! These probably arn't the nicest shots ever as I couldn't go anywhere, so I just used my familiar coulee walk. I was trying to take shots of some more everyday things, so instead of nature, one of these is more of a random thing I found. I will have a few more in 3 or 4 days!

Heres a random scene with pretty clouds!

This is a chain and it's shadow... hey... I liked it :)

This is designed to make you dizzy.

Until next time then!

Keilan

Just one!

Hey all, I have managed to take a picture. It's not great, but it's a picture. As I've said before, school is pretty busy and the weather sucks, so I have no time for photography, when all is said and done, it's mostly a summer sport. I'll try to give you all a few shots now and then though :)

That is what the sky looked like right before this nasty weather started up, pretty gross, haha.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, I've been busy, so anyways, until next time,
God Bless,
Keilan

I appear to be out of pictures.

Well winter is coming and the weather is miserable, which means I won't have many pictures in the next while. I will try to continue posting on a regular basis, sometimes with photos and sometimes without. I will try to keep my posts at least mildly amusing. So today, I am digging up some random quotes and stuff... they're all really lame, but they made me laugh... but then again, thats not hard.

I'm not a vegetarian because I love animals. I'm a vegetarian because I hate plants.

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you haven't used enough.

And lastly the greatest homework excuse ever... I didn't do my homework because it was destroyed in a freak accident involving a hippo, a toaster and a bag of frozen peas. (I intend to use that at least once this year).

Anyways... that was sad, you can all go on with your lives now.

Who needs colour anyway?

Well everyone, seeing as it's getting colder, the pictures are going to slow down about now. My camera doesn't handle cold too well, and neither do I, haha. However, due to a request from one of my friends, I am going to post a few pictures with colours either removed or edited. So here they are.

Heres a shot thats just plain old black and white.

These next two are almost full black and white, this one wasn't quite stripped of it's colour, crows do have nice eyes after all.

Here's a flower, I just posted this shot recently, but not like this.

And last but not least, I simply went crazy with this shot. I'm not very good at this kind of editing so forgive the jagged edges.

Thats it for today,

Keilan

Some boring shots, hehe.

Hey all!

A few days ago I got some new photo gear, so I wanted to go test it out. Now the subjects I had in mind were birds, which I found none of, so I took a bunch of random shots instead. These are pretty boring shots, as the title says, so I hope you don't mind too much, hopefully I'll get some exciting shots soon!

Here is a plant in front of my house, if you look at the background, you can tell there is a building there, as opposed to just nature like most of my shots.

Here is a sunflower, I composed the picture just right to get the sunflower at a wierd angle, and then while looking over the shots, I realized I caught a Ladybug climbing the stem! :)

This is a leaf. Not much else to say.

Here is another sunflower, this was a big one... with a bee on it.

Hope you enjoyed these! God Bless!

Camping!

Okay, I wasn't camping, but my friend was! So I went to visit him along with my trustee camera, there was a waterfall nearby, but it was a mean waterfall, so I didn't get any good shots of it. I did however, get these! Enjoy!

This is a river, it seemed quite serene compared to other parts of it, I thought it was pretty.

This is one of the less serene parts of the river, rapids however, also make very nice pictures!

And this is a bridge. I'm usually not much for architectural shots, but this looked nice to me!

Hope you liked my shots! God Bless!

A pretty river!

Hey all, I biked to a river about 5 minutes from where I live to eat food with my mom and brother, even though it's a cheesy man made river I managed to get a few pretty awesome pictures!

Heres a Funnel Spider, these things scared me silly, they're so fast and creepy.

This is a little red dragonfly. I found a pair on them mating but while mating dragonflies rarely land, so I was not able to get a clear shot.

This is a rock in focus with blurry water. Speaking artistically, this is a very bad photo, I liked it for some reason.

Hope you enjoyed this post,
God Bless,
Keilan

YAY!

Good day to you all, sorry about the topic title. But I am rather excited. First of all, I took my three thousandth photo on the 1st, and Im proud of that. But more than that. I GOT A CAR! Yes indeed. I can't even drive on my own until November, but I have it! And it is rather nice, especially for a first car.

It is a 1993 Plymouth Colt with 150,000km on it. It has air condition in the form of a convienient handle used to roll down the windows. It has no clock in it, which is something I have never seen before, and the radio is pretty bad (first upgrade is definatly going to be a car stereo). I don't know much about cars, but I know it has a Mitsubishi engine, and is good on gas!!!

And theres the side view. It's even a blue car! Yay! And heres the best part. When we bought it, it already had half a tank of gas in it!!! Thats worth a lot of money!

Anyways, thats all I have for today, you get normal pictures in a few days.

God Bless,
Keilan

A few quick shots!

Hey everyone! I was just outside taking a few shots last night, they arn't the best, but I figured I needed something to show you.

Here is one of the moon way up in the sky. I figured the moon was no good for close ups. So I decided to catch a bit of the sunset as well. Okay, so the sunset didn't really look like that. I'm kind of an artist, can't I play with my shots a bit?

This is my fire pit. I find myself very drawn to fire picture, they're so hard to get right! maybe someday I'll get some good ones.

This is kind of a neat shot. You'll have to click on it to see it properly. But I made it by stitching 10 other shots together. This is a big coulee view pretty close to where I live. Hope you like it!

Thats it for today, God Bless!

My people shots!

Well recently I received a request to take some people shots. So I dug up a few old ones to post. A long with a nature shot, since I need some of those (Nature is my specialty after all). So anyways, this is an amazing fashion model who was kind enough to give me permission to post some photos of him. As you can imagine, this good looking tough guy is quite popular and I am glad to have the honour of posting some shots of him.

A nice care-free kind of pose. This young man knows how to be a good model!

Hear he is gazing away in thought, contemplating the meaning of life perhaps.

Well I'm afraid thats all I was able to take of him (he has a very tight schedule of course). So here is a spider. Just for the record, although the background has the look of a brightly lit tropical rainforest, it is actually a plain looking bush that I photoshopped to death.

Hope you enjoyed these, God Bless!
